This free, interactive programme runs for four weeks, from April 28th, and helps you rethink how to shop, store, and cook your food to minimise waste. You'll get to test out practical tools for reducing food waste and discover what works best for your household. With Nic’s expert guidance and bite-sized tips, you’ll be supported to build easy, lasting habits that really make a difference. Each participant will receive a free digital recipe book filled with delicious, low-waste meal ideas to try. Optional Zoom sessions will happen at 7.30 on Monday evenings, on the 28th April, 5th May, and 19th May.

One Zoom call offers an exclusive opportunity to hear from chef Karl Martin-Boulton. Karl, from popular Waikato restaurant The Green, will share his take on how to create beautiful meals while using every bit of your ingredients.

Nicola is thrilled to be bringing Every Bite online again, after running the first pilot in February. ‘This programme is all about progress, not perfection,’ she says. ‘I love seeing the lightbulb moments people have when they realise small changes can make a big impact. Taking Every Bite digital means we can connect with even more households around Aotearoa and support them to waste less, save money, and feel good doing it.’

Here’s what past participants have said:

  • ‘Nic is a great presenter. The emails and videos are easy to digest and go through.’

  • ‘It's a real eye-opener and for me a lightbulb moment!  I actually didn't even realise how disorganised and overstocked my fridge and pantry were.  I now want to journey towards ‘less is more’, and I've found that I've had my eyes opened to lots of different areas of my life where I can use the same principles to simplify.’

  • ‘Very informative & encouraging.’

‘It’s great to see that people found it achievable,’ says Nic. ‘No guilt trips, no overwhelm - just real-life tools that make a difference. I’m really excited for May’s programme and can’t wait to see the ripple effect it creates.’
